So, this tiny, little spider climbed up a water spout. Then what happened?

No, not poor little spider. Have you forgotten the happy ending? "Out came the sun and dried up all the rain, and the itsy-bitsy spider went up the spout again!" Oh, do you mean poor little spider because he's not thinking ahead to the same unpleasant consequences that may occur? Or may NOT? May our boy always have the courage to go up the spout again! In T's version, he is forever being washed out, and the sun never comes to dry the rain. The rain comes down, he gets washed out, and then it comes down again. And again. Poor spider.
