Congratulations to all! Video camera was at the ready, right? Right??
So happy you both were there! When JH took his first steps, we had been walking that hunched over, holding the finger walk for MONTHS. What finally convinced him that he could do it himself was tricky - he grabbed a ball he couldn't hold in one hand while standing up. It was like he was holding onto a hand or a table, and he just took off, laughing like a maniac all through the house, the ball holding him up!
Go Thumper! You're a genius, boy!
No, no video. He's taken a couple of steps a few different times today, so maybe this afternoon I'll try to take a standing shot. I haven't been inundating the family with baby pictures lately, so I'm sure the grandfolks are itching for new photographic evidence of his brilliance.
